Study of the chemical effect of steam dilution on NO formation in laminar premixed H2/Air flame at normal and elevated pressure

To promote the understanding and development of steam diluted H2/air combustion technology, chemical effect dilution on NO formation in 1D laminar premixed flame is numerically studied over a wide range conditions. The importance influence path are analyzed, impact working conditions explored. This research makes up for deficiencies dilution, has significant reference value optimizing practical application. Results show that dilution's highly depends rate pressure. In this study, accounts −16.3%–20.1% total reduced by dilution. direct main cause change. It reduces H O concentration inhibiting reaction OH+H2<=>H+H2O H+O2<=>OH+O. However, third-body increases then slightly promotes formation. Increasing pressure causes to gradually turns generation at low rates.
